What time is best to book my session?

Usually you know when your child is at its happiest, morning or afternoon, just fed, just napped. I would suggest keeping to your routine and choose your slot wisely. Hungry and tired children don’t usually make smiley faces.

Do you automatically share our images on Social media?

No, we fully respect anyone’s wish not to have their child on social media or images shared. We do ask permissions for sharing images within our pre-session questionnaire which is asked when booking. We do check this carefully before doing so and we do not share without consent for the child's parents.

Can I take a photo?

Cameras, phone cameras and camcorders are NOT permitted during any session.

 

Newborn: What should my baby wear?

Just a sleep suit as your baby will be naked for most of the session. Private areas will be protected / covered and not photographed.

 

Can parents and siblings be included in the session?

Yes! I wouldn't have it any other way. At the end of the baby's session there will be time for some family shots. By this time the baby may be a little fed up and want a cuddle. This is the perfect time! Siblings can be included. Extra family needs to be stated when booking the session. Parents and siblings to wear plain colours, no patterns or stripes.

 

What happens if my baby won't settle or sleep? 

Being patient is part of my job. Growth spurts happen and sometimes babies just can't be settled. If this happens it can be a losing battle and it is best to give in and re-schedule. Sometimes it is just easier to try another day...

 

Poo, wee and all messy things!!!

Don't worry, this happens a lot. Everything can go in the wash at the end of the day. Just make sure you bring an extra outfit with you.

 

Cake Smash: Is the cake included?

No cake is provided. If you let us know a colour scheme you have in mind, balloons will be provided to interest the child before the cake smash begins and are then used for decoration. I do have a few props but please bring anything with you to personalise your session.
